Yes, I agree, it is all very sad.... but I really appreciate the choices we have been given. I think it might be a bit out of my league, but I will continue to slog it out, and you never know...

Thanks for your support. It has made a huge contribution to my motivation.

All the best, and good luck.

R.I.P.

Well, I just received the official word that Personal Video Bootcamp is dead. That's really sad since we've been building community and I am working on some questions with regard the new program and the interaction.

That said, I think this group has worked really hard and I wish you all the best - I'm going to be completing Month 2 and once that is set - I will look at my options - we definitely have choices. So to all of you, you've done a great job and been an inspiration as you worked at digging deep and really outlining your stories, your lives and your goals. You're fantastic!

Okay, we hit BJs Month 2 video and were anyone else's hands sore. Lots of focus on using the arms for sure. I've got a question for the group - what goal or treat will you reward yourself with as each month or goal is reached?

I've been looking long range - an island vacation for the wife and me - something we've never done, but that won't be until 2010 most likely. So I'm looking to find some other short range goals to help keep us going. Beach day will be here before I know it - so that is an incentive - anything else? I'd love to hear from you.

Jan - First off let me say that the story is amazing and encouraging. It's definitely a count the blessings type of thing. I wish you all the best in a very difficult situation. Thanks for the encouragement.

Also, my thoughts will continue to be with all that are undergoing such a tragedy as the fires. To think some were started - that's horrible. I wish you all relief soon.

Keep up the great work! I know Month 2 had me plumb tuckered out! The best to everyone! Just think of how we'll be after the end of Month 2. Whoo Hooo.

Thanks Andrew. Just about everyone has family or friends who have been affected in some way, but fortunately all ours are alive and well. Some houses and livestock gone, but when put in perspective, they are the lucky ones.

My heart also goes out to your friend. But treatment today is so advanced. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the age of 45. Six years on and we have done some wonderful things and had quality time. He is presently in the final stages, but considering he was predicted to have only six months, six years is pretty outstanding!!! The only reason his story is not even more outstanding is that his disease was not picked up early, so he was fighting an uphill battle from the start. So good luck to your friend. The moral of the story is to live every day to its fullest potential.

Dr K... thanks for the new workout. I'm nowhere near up to speed enough to tackle it yet, but I am getting better each day, so will soon be there. Having a fantastic time discovering a body beneath the flab! lol

Okay, new videos are up! Yeah! We dove into Karreem's video last night. Okay, we were seriously tired. Plus I have the battle scars to prove I worked hard. Both my elbows were bleeding by the time I was done with the up and down planks. Ouch! I just kept digging deep.

Beyond that it went well - we'll jump to BJs exercise video next. The only thing we're having a harder time doing is finding a substitute for a pole - we just don't have anything like that here. So we did are workout without as suggested.

New videos, new cardio! Yeah. We were hitting the time where we needed to freshen it up and these came right on target.

Hope everyone is doing well! Oh, Jan - I've been hearing about the wildfires in Austrailia - how horrible. Hope you and yours are safe.

Hello everyone,

I see I'm not the only one who hasn't been posting in awhile. I've been busy at work all weekend and pretty much wiped out yesterday. Those 14 1/2 hour days are exhausting. (the time I get up until the time I get home). I hope everyone is keeping up with the routines. I am anxiously waiting the new videos. Take care everyone and keep on burning the fat.

On a sad note, a close friend of mine was rushed to the hospital. The bottom line, he has a tumor that has closed off his colon and they found a spot on his liver. He is starting chemo. He's just shy of 50.

It just makes me realize how quickly things can change and how important it is to get yourself checked out by the doctor. Also, it helps you live life with gusto - you never know when things can happen.

Well, didn't mean to bring the mood down, but it's been a hard week. Thanks for posting and bringing some sunshine into my week.

Fantastic! That's 6lbs! I think the most amazing thing is that you kept it up and you stuck with it! You should be really proud of yourself! I know this community is proud of you - and super thrilled to have you jump into the discussion. Your encouragement and example are something that will really motivate others - I know I was so happy that you posted.

It takes a lot of courage on so many levels. Australian, huh? What a world wide community! That said, I can't help but be the smallest big jealous of the warm temps you guys are having there. On the way into work it was -7. (Sigh!)

From experience, you will improve each and every workout! I look forward to hearing from you again.
