A question – how do you make the unconcious action – a concious one? This video really highlights the importance of breathing which I didn’t do so well with at the beginning of my exercise program, but I really had to concentrate to breathe correctly. Is there a better way to do this?

In additional, the action of pulling your shoulders up is something that I know that I do and I battle against – another unconscious habit – any ways to train ourselves better with these types of things?

These are great questions, Andrew.

In fact, they’re so good that they will become posts in the near future…

Have a great day,

Kareem

so i just had the best 1hour and 40 min. massage.. Wow oh wow were there lots of sore tight spots. Serious detox bath tonight and lots and lots of water.

My questions Dr. K is why oh why do I have KNOTS everywhere? I have been told numerous times that my muscles are difficult to massage, I am tender in areas that are not per se “normal” like both sides of my tibia up and down the whole thing, both legs. Very tender medially and below my knees below the tibial head. No pain ever while walking or any exercise but very tender, hot spots during massage. My glutes were pretty locked up, they got worked pretty good today and both of my ITB.. Yowzer… No probs with the hamstings or gastroc but both legs were very tender medially and laterally to the muscles up and down the whole leg.

Hope you can help. I get massage at least 1x month and really try for 2x month.

Thanks again for your help.
