Hey everybody,

Ready for some more great tips and motivation? In this video series, I’ll be teaching you all about:

Stretching and Mobility – The Length Component of Strength

Today’s video is about ‘Knowing When To Stretch’. Let’s make sure you’re not just stretching for the sake of stretching…

Hint:  This is going to make all the difference when it comes to both strength and length.  Try to listen to this video twice before implementing.  I’ve covered a lot of small (but important) points.

Have a great day,

Kareem

Fascinating stuff. Well, personally speaking.

Kareem, it’s slightly different, but do you have any comments on muscle release therapy (MRT)? Some people recommend it, others write it off as quakery. Comments?

Hey Kym,

Perhaps I’m not familiar with MRT?

Is that similar to Active Release Therapy (ART) or something different?

Thanks for your reply, Kareem.

I did a quick Google on MRT and ART together and while obviously I’m guessing, it seems that ART is one type of MRT. Many sites seem to use the two interchangeably.

In any case, I’d be interested to hear your (brief) opinion on ART. I’ve also just found an English-speaking Rolfer and also a chiropractor in my (Japanese) neighbourhood and I’m thinking of checking them out.

I’m getting great results from LHPH, no doubt about it, but I have joint problems that go back 20 years and posture probs that go back even further. Hence, the interest in the body work.

I know this is difficult (impossible?) to answer from another continent, but where should I start? If you can’t answer this, I’m sure you’ll say so. :-)

Thanks
