Hey Deni,

Great comments! Thank you :-)

You're absolutely right - the most important thing is just to get started. Using unstable surfaces is the key to muscle balancing, injury prevention, improved balance/core strength, and many other benefits. However, as Deni was kind enough to point out, this stuff is super-advanced. Just be sure to start at the beginner level and work your way up. There's no rush when it comes to being healthy for the rest of your life.

For those of you who are ready, get a spotter, and get to it! This stuff is ultra-fun, and incredibly effective. Just don't be discouraged if you have to spend some time at a lower level for awhile first ;-)

Thanks again, Deni - please keep your enthusiasm - it's certainly appreciated!

Have a great night,

Kareem

Hey Dr. K,

Great exercises here for core stability, balance, and major challenge! These exercises will definitely give one a sense of accomplishment, not to mention knock their confidence level up a bit.

Might I suggest to your readers to be sure these exercises are toward the end of their stability ball exercise progression. Also, to enlist the help of a fitness professional for spotting and proper progression is wise.

To leave stability balls in the closet, or in the corner of a gym is such a waste. Roll those suckers out onto the floor and get moving!

I've had people say, "What can you do with these?" My answer is, "Just about anything I want." Name a muscle group or goal, and you can pretty much accomplish it using a stability ball as a tool.

Your exercises are the perfect example of the many things that can be done for sports and fun. Meaning, have a purpose and a plan for this level of core work.

Great work, Dr. K!
